Buying plants online from Shopee and trying out Shotcut video editing software

I have managed to install some shelves in my new room and it's time to populate them with plants! Plant nurseries are generally located in ulu areas so I thought I can try purchasing them online instead. I found Plant & Plant on Shopee with a decent variety of airplants and houseplants. I used to buy from Pick-a-plant's Lim Chu Kang nursery (it is the parent company of Plant & Plant) as well as Plant & Plant's pop-up Orchard Road store and warehouse. Morevoer, with a delivery fee of $5 and fast delivery, I thought it was a no-brainer to buy online. The main disadvantage of online shopping is that you cannot check the plants for pests, and sure enough, my bamboo palm came infested with tiny snails. Admittedly, they are cute, but I was worried they will eat up my palm. There was also a brown jumping spider living among the stalks.

Here is a video of my haul:

This time, I tried a new video editing software called Shotcut. Despite being free-of-charge, its features are comprehensive and rival that of Premiere Pro. The best thing is it was able to load previews of 4K videos... with some lag. Still, it was miles ahead of Premiere Pro which would get stuck at a frame even when I rendered previews. I am looking forward to creating more videos with this software!
