SEA Aquarium Singapore
The underwater world is mystical. Once I dip my head into the sea, the waters seal off noises and provide a temporary respite from the hustle of city-living.
I enjoy snorkelling and photographing marine life. As my swimming abilities are poor, I usually float on the waters and observe them from far.
The SEA Aquarium allows me to view the enchanting sea creatures up-close with the security of being on dry land. I got a discounted rate to visit the attraction and I brought my 70d along for filming. It was my first time recording with Magic Lantern on the 70d. I wanted detailed shots along with the ability to tweak white balance in post, but I underestimated how much filming I would do and maxed out my two ML SD cards halfway through the visit.
I made myself slow down, switch off my camera and focus on viewing the marine creatures several times to fully immerse in the magical experience. In reality, there were hordes of screaming kids and adults around me. The H.264 clips with audio was excruciating to listen to. I liked the trip although I probably would not return soon as I prefer looking at wildlife in their natural habitats more.
