Water Therapy for Sansevieria trifasciata hahnii
In my previous blog post, I mentioned I was doing water therapy for one of my oldest plants in my collection, a Sansevieria trifasciata hahnii. The plant was dehydrated and faring poorly due to root mealies. I removed all of the old potting soil, gave it a good wash with isopropyl alcohol and placed it in a cup of water to encourage root growth.
The results are optimistic! Look at the beautiful white roots. I have since dried the Sansevieria and potted it into a fresh gritty mix.
