Singapore Garden Festival 2018 and Plant Haul

I was fortunate to be hired for an event shoot at Singapore Garden Festival, which allowed me to explore the exhibits after it ended. The exhibition included several fantasy gardens created by award-winning designers.

I love photographing flowers, but I do not seem to have much talent for it.

Some of the exhibits at the fantasy gardens.

This reminds me so much of fall!

Singapore Garden Festival also featured a marketplace where numerous vendors were selling a myriad of plants. Succulents, air plants, orchids, bonsais and even rarer plants like blue star ferns were waiting to be brought home. I could not resist the temptation of buying those beautiful plants and bought 4 succulents ($10 in total). I returned on the last day of the festival and many shops were slashing prices in a bid to clear their stocks. Needless to say, I loosened my purse strings and bought another 2 succulents ($4), 6 air plants ($11) and a Dischidia plant ($1). I made a haul video for my succulents and air plants:
